Within a couple weeks Greulich was\ncaucused in unanimously to fill in the remaining term of Matt Knepper\ncouncilman at large who recently resigned. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greulich\nis an environmental engineer at Waupaca Foundry, Inc. for 24 years. His\nresponsibilities include managing the facilities environmental management\nsystem and the compliance reporting to the federal and state agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greulich\nhas been a lifelong resident of Spencer County and has been active on the\ncounty level and his local community.&nbsp; He has been on the Spencer County\nRedevelopment Commission from January 2017 until his recent placement on the\ncouncil in January. He currently is seated on the board of directors of\nLincolnland Economic Development since 2016, and most recently been on the\nboard of directors of Christmas Lake Village Properties Association from\n2012-2018. He also meets Indiana\u2019s Emergency Medical Services training\nstandards\nto remain an active first responder with his employer since 1997. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greulich\nearned a Bachelor of Science degree Magna Cum Laude at Oakland City University\nand resides in Santa Claus with his wife Kelly. They have two adult children,\nNikolaus resides at home in Santa Claus, and Heidi resides in Richland. They\nare members of St. Meinrad Parish and Greulich is a fourth degree member of the\nKnights of Columbus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greulich stated\n\u201cWith previous experiences on boards and managing a departmental budget in the\nprivate sector, I feel qualified and enthusiastic about retaining this seat on\nthe county council.
